“We want to make our compact travel vans and recreational vehicles available to even more customers – that's why we're now launching the Marco Polo HORIZON in a right-hand-drive variant”, says Klaus Maier, Head of Marketing and Sales Mercedes-Benz Vans. “The first market is Japan, one of the world's key right-hand-drive markets”, continues Klaus Maier.
With the launch of the Marco Polo HORIZON as a right-hand-drive variant in Japan and Great Britain, Mercedes-Benz Vans is continuing to press ahead with its “Mercedes-Benz Vans goes global” growth strategy in the camper van market in 2018.
About the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo HORIZON:
The Marco Polo HORIZON is based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The multiple seating configurations of the Marco Polo HORIZON for up to seven passengers are an expression of its maximum versatility. It also offers five sleeping berths thanks to a reclining triple bench in the rear and a roof bed for two people. Two drawers underneath the reclining bench provide extra stowage space. The Marco Polo HORIZON can be stylishly individualised with an array of high-quality materials. Thanks to compact exterior dimensions and a vehicle height below two metres, the Marco Polo HORIZON is not just ideal for leisure activities, it is also a perfect everyday companion. For instance, it can get into any standard multi-storey car park without problems.
