NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As Nissan continues its commitment to thrilling drivers at every turn, the Nissan Versa sedan and Nissan Murano crossover have both been recognized with awards in the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study.
For the third year in a row, the Nissan Versa ranks highest in driver appeal among small cars in the study. The Nissan Murano also was named No. 1 in driver appeal among midsize SUVs.
The J.D. Power APEAL Study examines new vehicle owners’ emotional attachment to and excitement for their vehicle based on 37 attributes, including the vehicle’s powertrain, infotainment system, driving comfort and more. Responses from more than 84,000 owners of model year 2022 vehicles are aggregated, with each vehicle ranked on a 1,000-point index.
