It was one night after football practice. Rawas Koshnau gets behind the wheel of a Corsa-e. Test drive in his teammate’s Stromer, both play in the “Vorwärts Orient Mainz” club. “I’m just careful on the gas and the car accelerates as if there was a 190 hp engine purring under the hood,” he remembers well.
It was his first drive in an electric car. In a Corsa-e with 100 kW/136 hp. And he loved it. “After a few kilometers it was clear to me: There are not only reasonable reasons to switch to an electric car – an Opel electric car is just fun.” After the short drive he was finally electrified: In the future he wanted to be electrically mobile. But there was a problem. He would like it if it weren’t for the long waiting times for new cars.
Mobile at all times: The leasing contract for the Corsa-e will be canceled as soon as the Mokka-e, which the Mainz-based company has configured and ordered, arrives.
”
Every Opel member can now quickly help friends and family alike to get an Opel.”
– Keywan Hemmati –
Rawas Koshnau had been working on fulfilling his wish for a long time. But at all the dealers he stopped by, e-cars were only available after long waiting times. But the kicker needed a new car immediately. The leasing contract for his old car had already expired, and he was forced to use wheels that his family lent him. “I’m already ready to maybe get a combustion engine again,” he describes the dilemma of his teammate, whose e-car he had just test driven. “If you like it, you can have the Corsa-e,” he replied. “Immediately.” Rawas Koshnau was startled: How so?
Quick solution with #OPEL2GO
His teammate at “Vorwärts Orient Mainz” with the Corsa-e is called Keywan Hemmati and is the head of marketing and communication at Opel for “sales to employees”. And in this function, he knows only too well: every Opel member can now not only help family members, but also friends and acquaintances quickly to get a vehicle from the current model range – and at the best conditions. “Family & Friends” is the name of the new offer. And if you don’t have the time or don’t feel like waiting longer than necessary for your driving pleasure, you can, like Rawas Koshnau, select a model from the #OPEL2GO fleet and drive off. And use it until your dream Opel has been configured and built.
Good charging infrastructure: “It doesn’t matter whether it’s where I live or at work – there’s always a free charging station.”
Sufficient range: With a full battery, it can easily cover the 35-kilometer route between home and work four times back and forth.
The currently most frequently available #OPEL2GO models can be downloaded here.
“In view of the waiting times at many dealers, our leasing offers for those switching are currently particularly attractive,” says Keywan Hemmati. A Crossland Elegance, for example, is available immediately from as little as 258 euros per month. The best way to find out which model is currently available as “OPEL2GO” is through a consultation when “selling to employees”. “The offer varies from day to day. Often the vehicles cannot be displayed online in the OpelStore staff. I therefore recommend consulting our sales outlets. You can also spontaneously stop by our store in the Adam Opel Haus from Tuesday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and take a look at the #OPEL2GO fleet on a daily basis,” explains Keywan Hemmati. You can find the most commonly available #OPEL2GO models here.
Corsa-e leased, Mokka-e ordered
Rawas Koshnau has concluded a nine-month leasing contract for his Corsa-e – chili red with a black roof – which can be canceled immediately as soon as the Opel Mokka-e, which he has now configured and ordered, arrives. “At 1.91 meters tall, I fit in there perfectly,” Rawas Koshnau discovered during a first test seat. And then of course there is the cockpit in the Mokka-e: “The Pure Panel flashed me.”
“The Pure Panel in the Mokka-e flashed me.”

Driving pleasure and comfort: “The Corsa-e not only looks great, it also runs absolutely smoothly and quietly,” enthuses the man from Mainz. “So quiet that I can talk on the phone while driving without my conversation partner noticing that I’m on the road.”
Until the Mokka-e arrives, the social worker enjoys driving the Corsa-e electrically. With a full battery, he easily manages the 35-kilometer route between his home in Mainz and his workplace in Bad Schwalbach four times back and forth. Charging is much easier than expected: “I have a public charging station right in front of the front door. If at all, it is only occupied during the day. After work, I can actually always go there,” reports the man from Mainz.
He also has two other options nearby. There are also various charging stations near his workplace in the Taunus. The actual charging is quick: “After a quarter of an hour, the battery is half full. That’s just enough to relax and have a coffee.”
