Subang Jaya, 19 August 2022 – PROTON officially launched the 2023 Proton Exora at PROTON KEB Auto Sdn Bhd in TTDI Kajang, Selangor today. The national carmaker’s 7-seater MPV has received updates for the 2023 model year consisting of styling revisions that aptly captures its unique selling propositions of Extraordinary Design, Extra Spacious, Exceptional Intelligence and Exhilarating Performance.“The 2023 Proton Exora, Malaysia’s first home-grown MPV, is designed and built with Malaysia’s rakyat in mind. Assert your presence with Extraordinary DesignThe 2023 Proton Exora receives exterior updates in the form of the new PROTON logo on the front grille and tailgate. To accentuate a sporty appearance, it is fitted with LED daytime running lamps, 16” alloy wheels in dual tone finishing, side skirtings and rear spoiler. A black roof with black rear garnish is a stylish accent that gives the 2023 Proton Exora a distinctive presence on the road.
Extra Spacious for all of life journeysInside, the spacious 7-seater cabin there are full leatherette seats, a leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel and armrests for the front seats for a touch of luxury and comfort. Especially important for an MPV, each row of seats is equipped with individual air-conditioning vents for optimum cooling with the N95 Cabin Filter, fitted as standard to improve air quality.
Exceptional Intelligence at the heart of itThe infotainment system features a 7” touchscreen monitor with the now-popular “Hi PROTON” Voice Command. Online navigation, music streaming, weather forecast, 4G and Wi-Fi enables a rich multimedia experience. Additionally, the system features smartphone connectivity to mirror link with Android devices. 2 USB ports are available to charge your electronic devices.
Exhilarating Performance paired with dependable safety featuresUnder the hood of the 2023 Proton Exora is the familiar 1.6 litre turbocharged engine paired with a CVT transmission, which generates 140PS of power and 205Nm of torque.
