World NM: Russian troops down 12 UAVs, Su-24 plane, hit six command posts in Ukraine operation001802

MOSCOW, September 20. /TASS-DEFENSE/. Russian troops have hit six command posts, shot down a Sukhoi Su-24 plane and 12 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the special military operation in Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said.
Precision strikes against temporary deployment sites of the 81st airmobile brigade and the 66th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army near the settlements of Chervony Oskol and Studenok in the Kharkov Region and the 93rd mechanized brigade near Bogorodichnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic eliminated over 120 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks and 12 automotive vehicles.
Precision strikes delivered by Russia’s Aerospace Force against temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian army’s 35th Marine brigade and 114th territorial defense brigade near Novogrigorovka and Novaya Odessa in the Nikolayev Region eliminated more than 70 nationalists and over 15 items of special and military hardware and vehicles.
Concentrated attacks against the combat positions of the 59th motorized infantry brigade in the areas of the settlements of Ternovka and Andreyevka in the Kherson Region wiped out up to 100 servicemen and seven armored fighting vehicles. Also, an armored plant in the city of Nikolayev where the military equipment of this unit was repaired was destroyed.
Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery units hit six command posts of the Ukrainian army near the settlements of Dolina, Tatyanovka, Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lezhino and Kirovo in the Zaporozhye Region and Bereznegovatoye in the Nikolayev Region, as well as 49 artillery units, manpower and military hardware in 142 areas.
Five depots with missile/artillery weapons and ammunition were destroyed near Seversk, Katerinovka, Dobrovolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Braginovka in the Dnepropetrovsk Region and Stepnoye in the Zaporozhye Region.

In the past 24 hours, air defenses shot down 12 unmanned aerial vehicles near the settlements of Petrovskoye, Khanzhenkovo, Blagoveshchenka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Molodyozhnoye, Priozyornoye, Muzykovka, Zelenovka, Posad-Pokrovskoye and Lyubimovka in the Kherson Region. Two US-made HARM anti-radar missiles were downed near the city of Kherson. In addition, 27 shells of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, as well as the Olkha MLRS were shot down near Donetsk, the settlements of Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Novaya Kakhovka, Berislav, Verovka, Tomarino and Vesyoloye in the Kherson Region.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian troops have eliminated 295 Ukrainian warplanes, 155 helicopters, 2,007 unmanned aerial vehicles, 375 air defense missile systems, 5,038 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 839 multiple rocket launchers, 3,403 field artillery systems and mortars, and 5,719 special military motor vehicles.
The Kiev regime continues provocations aimed at creating a potential technological disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (ZNPP).
In the past 24 hours, there have been five artillery attacks launched at a thermo-electric substation located near the power plant. A total of 24 artillery shells were fired from Kiev-controlled Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk Region. One of the engineering buildings was damaged. The Ukrainian army’s artillery units that had shelled the ZNPP’s territory were neutralized by counterfire. The radiation situation at the Zaporozhye NPP remains normal.
