CTAG and Grupo Antolin continue developing joint R&D lines of action within the framework of the joint research unit insAI during 2022

After its launch in 2020, the technical research work continues within the framework of the Joint Research Unit (JRU) insAI, a collaboration initiative between CTAG and Grupo Antolin around the development of intelligent and innovative solutions for monitoring the occupants of the vehicle, which contribute to improving the user experience.

The work done to date has made it possible to advance in the analysis of new technologies, and their implementation, validation and optimization, in order to create application solutions in the field of safety and automated driving, comfort and health.

Thus, during this third period of execution in 2022, the R&D activities of the JRU have been consolidated, for which design and technological development tasks have been carried out. It is expected that upon completion of the Join Research Unit, this capacity will be reflected in an increase in the competitive level, boosting activity in the automotive sector, as a key industry in the economy.

The insAI Joint Research Unit is subsidized by the Galician Innovation Agency, within the framework of the call for “Grants for the creation and ongoing post of Joint Research Units” (DOG No. 35, February 20, 2020), and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the operational program ERDF Galicia 2014-2020 (file code IN853A-2020/03), with the support of the First Vice-Presidency and Ministry of Economy, Industry and Innovation of the Xunta de Galicia.
