YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for August 2022.
1. Production
Nissan’s global production in August surpassed year-ealier results by 9.0%.
Production in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 19.9%.
Production outside Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 7.2%.
2. Sales
Global sales in August declined 15.5% from a year earlier.
Sales including minivehicles in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 8.6%.
・Sales of registered vehicles in Japan declined 3.5% from a year earlier.
・Minivehicle sales in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 34.3%.
Sales outside Japan declined 18.2% from a year earlier.
3. Exports from Japan
Exports from Japan in August surpassed year-earlier results by 43.7%.
