LUGANSK, October 21. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost up to 60 servicemen in fighting with the Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) People’s Militia, the department’s spokesman Ivan Filiponenko reported on Friday.
“Over the past 24 hours in the course of active offensive actions of the LPR People’s Militia units, the enemy suffered heavy losses in manpower and military equipment. Our units destroyed: up to 60 servicemen, three artillery systems, five armored personnel carriers, 15 units of special automotive equipment,” he said in the message published on the LPR People’s Militia Telegram channel.
It is also noted that over the past day, the LPR engineer units cleared more than eight hectares of the LPR territory from explosives left by Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Omelkovo and Vyshnevnoye.
