The infomobility network Green light of the Automobile Club of Italy is renewed to offer new services for the benefit of motorists, commuters and more generally those on the move. The primary objective is to promote safer, more sustainable and inclusive mobility.

The main new features of Luceverde 2.0, which are already operational, are: personalized news services with notifications on the route developed thanks to advanced artificial intelligence techniques; touchless voice interaction with mobile devices to ensure social inclusion; integration with Apple Car Play and Android Auto for increasingly responsible driving; georeferenced search for charging stations, car parks and petrol stations.

To speed up Luceverde’s membership process, the network membership form for radio broadcasters and local administrations has also been updated.

Luceverde broadcasts news and updates on urban traffic in 28 cities with 520 bulletins broadcast every day by more than 160 local radio stations participating in the circuit.

“Luceverde is a strategic tool for making travel more efficient, safe mobility and environmental protection – declares the President of the Automobile Club of Italy, Angelo Sticchi Damiani – and guarantees quality, reliability and punctuality of information with the know-how of ‘ACI which contributed to the birth and development of infomobility in Italy”.

“The goal is to make the most of the most innovative technologies to make citizens’ travel easier and safer – says Geronimo La Russa, President of ACI Infomobility – avoiding any type of distraction while driving. Thanks to the new functions developed, the information and services provided are now accessible with a simple voice command, in the car or at home”.

Luceverde is also an online system with apps, websites, social channels, web radio and a contact center that answers the toll-free number 800.18.34.34.
