SHANGHAI – Cadillac has introduced the LYRIQ All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant in China. The all-electric luxury SUV is available with a sports design package and additional drive unit that offer dynamic handling and a distinctive persona to match customers’ diverse preferences and lifestyles.
The LYRIQ AWD complements the well-equipped Rear-Wheel Drive Luxury and Prestige variants in the LYRIQ lineup.
The LYRIQ AWD sports package includes an all-new Cadillac shield grille with a stylish laser-ablated geometric pattern. It represents a modern interpretation of the brand’s design legacy and showcases a sophisticated and dynamic appearance.
The Dark Moonlight grille also has a unique lighting sequence featuring a slim pipe of illumination surrounding the perimeter of the shield. It creates a captivating lighting experience while reinforcing the vehicle’s overall expressive and dynamic visual impression.
Unique dark chrome finish on several areas of the LYRIQ AWD exterior – including the upper window surrounds, lower fascia accents, front and rear fascia decoration, and lower door accents – gives the SUV a sleek and stealthy appearance. Matched with body-color hidden door handles and 20-inch dynamic alloy wheels with a satin dark finish (also available with split-spoke reverse rim alloy wheels with a polished black finish), this further emphasizes the dramatic presence and sporty styling.
With GM’s state-of-the-art Ultium platform at its core, the LYRIQ AWD elevates the already exceptional driving dynamics and performance. The highly integrated high-performance drive units deliver peak combined power of 375 kW and an EV range of 608 km under CLTC conditions.
It is equipped with two permanent magnet motors, placed at both the front and the rear of the vehicle. With nearly instantaneous torque, it allows an engaging and responsive ride and handling. Acceleration of 0-100 km/h can be achieved in 4.9 seconds. The LYRIQ AWD also supports fast charging throughout the entire product life cycle.
Customers who pre-order the LYRIQ AWD can select the sports package using the Cadillac IQ app. Deliveries are expected to begin late December.
