We’ve been waiting eagerly for this: The first photos and information about the Astra Electric are here – as is the Astra Sports Tourer Electric. Because Opel is the first German manufacturer to put a fully electric station wagon on the road.
drives
1, 2, … 3! The Astra is now available with more drive alternatives than any other Opel model: in addition to highly efficient combustion engines, the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer are already available as plug-in hybrids. From spring, the newly crowned winner of the “Golden Steering Wheel 2022” can now also be ordered as a battery-electric Astra Electric.
The Astra Electric is another milestone on the way to becoming a fully electric brand in Europe.
km/h
While many other electric cars are curtailed earlier, the Astra has a top speed of 170 km/h in pure battery operation. The electric motor delivers 115 kW/156 hp and 270 Newton meters of maximum torque. You can choose between the three driving modes Eco, Normal and Sport.
Performance: The acceleration typical of electric drives and a top speed of 170 km/h are the parameters for driving pleasure.
“Suitable for everyday use, comfortable and with a lot of driving pleasure locally emission-free – that’s what we mean by sensible ‘greenovation’ of mobility.”
– Opel CEO Florian Huettl –
km
The 54 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 416 kilometers according to WLTP. The engineers attached great importance to efficient packaging, an exemplary range with a compact battery size. The Astra Electric needs just 12.7 kWh of electricity per 100 kilometers (14.9 kWh according to WLTP).
The fully electric Astra comes with the Opel Vizor in every equipment line – including an extra sporty front bumper.
minutes
The Astra Stromer can be charged to 80 percent of the battery capacity in around 30 minutes at a 100 kW direct current fast charging station. The standard equipment also includes a three-phase 11 kW onboard charger for quick charging with alternating current on the wall box at home.
A cockpit world with a digital Pure Panel including two widescreen displays also awaits the driver in the Astra Electric.
liter
With the rear seats up, the trunk of the Astra Sports Tourer Electric offers 516 liters of cargo volume in the luggage compartment – with the rear seats folded down, it is even 1,553 liters. So it’s ideal for traveling with. And locally emission-free. After all, the Astra Sports Tourer Electric is the first all-electric station wagon from a German manufacturer.
The standard 18-inch light-alloy wheels in diamond cut – or completely black – are eye-catchers.
