Car sales in January 2023

The registration figures for new passenger cars in January are unusually low. The only thing that is close to normal is the change of ownership statistics. In January, 1,860 new passenger cars were registered, 6,097 fewer (-76.6%) than in January 2022. Among the new passenger cars, zero-emission cars had a 66.5 per cent market share in January, in the same month last year the market share was 83.7 per cent.
