On Sunday 19th February Josef Kral, Praga’s Head of Motorsport and chief test driver, presented the Praga Bohema hypercar in a special appearance at his Eisking TOUR, a motorsport and F1 themed talk show, co-hosted by Stevo Eisele.
Held at the Gong Galley in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the Czech Republic’s leading F1 commentators made a dramatic entrance onto the stage in the Praga Bohema, before being joined by special guest Ben Collins who gave a live interview to a sold-out, record EisKing TOUR audience of 1,500 fans.
Ben Collins spoke about his career from racing driver and stunt driver to becoming the most famous BBC Top Gear Stig, as well as competing the Praga R1 in the 2022 Praga Cup UK. Ben also spoke about the first time he drove the Praga Bohema and his plans to return to the Top Gear track, but this time to set a new lap record with Praga.
Fans at the event had the chance to admire the €1.28m road legal Praga Bohema hypercar up close, but it wasn’t the only Praga at the show. For the first time ever, the Praga Bohema appeared alongside a historical timeline of Pragas from throughout the brand’s 115 year history.
The oldest cars on show were the 1916 Praga Mignon and the 1933 Praga Alfa, which won the 1000 Miles of Czechoslovakia endurance race in 1933, and is still competed today. The classic Pragas were joined by the current Praga R1 race car, Aleš Loprais’s Praga V4S DKR Dakar truck, and the limited edition Praga ZS 800 motorcycle, announced earlier this month.
