Antolin with Women’s Day: Action and Partnerships for Equity and Inclusion

Antolin is working on homogeneous model of equality consistent with the new demands and expectations of the closest environments where it operates. The company is already developing actions, plans and programs that aim to achieve real equality between men and women in the different phases of the employment relationship. In Antolin, about 38% of employees are women.

These plans are part of People, one of Antolin’s three areas of value growth together with Planet and Business. Among the medium-term strategic objectives, the progressive increase in the percentage of women in management position stands out.

Over the past few months, the company has developed various initiatives and actions to promote gender equality in its organization:

  • Approval of new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments as part of the CSR and Human Rights Policy.
  • Representation of women in the management and administrative bodies of the company: 40% on the Board of Directors, 75% on the Advisory Board and 28% on the Executive Committee.
  • Mandatory training of the entire workforce for the prevention of harassment and discrimination, included within the objectives to be assessed as part of annual performance.
  • Collaboration and participation in customer working groups such as Ford’s The FoE Supplier Diversity in Europe with the presence of its major suppliers.
  • Supporting health care, empowering women and promoting quality education from schools as part of the Village Upliftment Program social circular economy project with Hand by Hand India. This project aims to build self-sufficient communities in India near Antolin’s industrial centers. The latest of the 2021-2023 programs is located in Gujarat Village and Khoda Vasodara, close to Antolin’s Sanand activity.

These initiatives are completed with external actions that demonstrate Antolin’s commitment to equal opportunities beyond the organization.

  • Promotion of women’s inclusive leadership in the industrial sector in Brazil with Antolin’s presence in the Women’s Superior Council of the Centro de Industrias del Estado de São Paulo de São José dos Campos-CIESP. The goal is to foster equity based on training,
  • Collaboration on the @50&50 Women’s Youth and Leadership initiative, in its third edition.
  • Adherence to the “CEO Alliance for Diversity” initiative, led and promoted by the Adecco Foundation and the CEOE Foundation (Spain).
  • Within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Antolin was present at the Eliseo Palace on International Women’s Day, supporting the declaration in favor of professional equality between women and men. 
  • Promote the entrepreneurship and industrial fabric development as part of the Polo + Project: talent award of an woman entrepreneur for the ‘Smart Energy APP’ solution (Spain).

Antolin is committed to participating in these types of initiatives related to gender equality, decent work and economic growth and reducing inequalities that contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8 and 10.
