These are the essential numbers of the ACI digitization plan, presented as part of the sixth report on the state of the Digital Transition for the year 2022.

According to Vincenzo Pensa – Director of Information Systems and Innovation of ACI – “The sixth report on the state of the Transition to Digital in ACI, referring to the year 2022, highlights an evolution carried out in a period of strong socio-economic conditioning”. “In particular – underlined Pensa – the slow but progressive exit from the pandemic emergency that characterized the three-year period 2020-2022 was superimposed by the consequences of a serious international crisis with the outbreak of war in Europe and the related repercussions in all sectors of our society. “Despite the difficulties caused by this period of unpredictable prolonged crisis – concluded the Director of Information Systems and Innovation of ACI – ACI has continued and consolidated its digital transformation process which today concerns almost all the sectors in which it operates”.

The results of the citizens’ assessment were also extremely flattering, testifying to how digitization has made it possible to improve the quality and efficiency of the services offered, simplify internal processes and increase transparency and participation of the citizens themselves.

In general, access to services through Spid and Cie is growing, demonstrating the diffusion and use of digital identity.
