Morgan has chosen Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as its local charity partner for 2023. The partnership will see Morgan and MAAC work together to raise awareness and funds for the charity’s pre-hospital emergency service.
Morgan’s local charity partner was voted on by Morgan staff and MAAC received the overwhelming majority of votes, in part due to the excellent care and support that the charity provided to a former Morgan employee back in 2017.
Throughout 2023, Morgan will support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity through several initiatives, including donating all proceeds from Meet at Morgan events at the Morgan Experience Centre, employee payroll giving and volunteering. Morgan will also attend several MAAC organised events throughout the year.
Beyond collaborating to fundraise, the partnership will also see MAAC provide potentially lifesaving mission support training to employees at the Morgan factory on Pickersleigh Road, including CPR and first aid training from the charity’s critical care team. The Morgan Experience Centre will also open its doors to MAAC critical care staff as a rest stop between missions as part of the charity’s Brew for the Crew scheme.
To launch the partnership several Morgan staff visited the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Strensham air base to meet members of the lifesaving critical care team, tour the base and hear more about the excellent pre-hospital emergency service that the charity provides.
