STATEMENTS
José López-Tafall, general director of ANFAC indicated that “for yet another month the electrified market is growing. Maintaining an upward trend is positive, but the volume of sales needs to increase for it to be a reality of purchase for citizens. In this last month, in which the general market for passenger cars has been close to 100,000 units, electrified cars have once again reached 10% of total sales. We are still in quotas well below the average of 21% that is already being reached in other European countries. Spain has to accelerate the electrified vehicle so as not to let go of this race. The Government has already transferred its commitment, but now it is necessary to implement the measures focused on agility with aid in the purchase, development of public access recharging infrastructures and taxation that will be an incentive and a boost to make the most accessible electrified vehicle for citizens.”
