@Groupe PSA: OP Buckle up and take off000565

Fasten seat belts! Only two matchdays have been played in the Bundesliga, but it is already clear who will fly high and who will fly low this season. Subscriber champions Bayern Munich have won their second game without much enthusiasm being raised in the 3-1 win over Augsburg. The “Eisernen” from Berlin, who surprisingly established themselves at the top of the table last season, beat Mainz and Darmstadt 4-1 a week ago, and they seem to want to maintain their level.

There are high and low flights
Bayer Leverkusen secured their second three with an impressive 3-0 in Gladbach, and the Red Bulls from Leipzig, who narrowly lost to Leverkusen on the first day of the game, made it clear with a 5-1 win against Stuttgart that they are in this round is also to be expected. The two promoted teams from Darmstadt and Heidenheim, who were not highly regarded anyway, also lost their second game, and in Mainz a Rhein-Main derby against Frankfurt ended peacefully again with 1:1.

Our winners in August

1st place: The stylish GSe T-shirt with a matching keychain goes to “Svenno”.

2nd place: “Tom108Furt” can be happy about the vacuum bottle with all-round printing.

3rd place: “Jaggabites” picked the football with the Astra rim design.

The winners will be notified via mail. Congratulations!

Excellent football knowledge will again be rewarded this season: the top three finishers in each calendar month can look forward to one of the great prizes from the Opel Lifestyle Shop. What innovations does the collection have in store? Have a look: The shop in the Adam Opel Haus is now open from Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Colleague Gina Harmening (photo left) is looking forward to visitors. And for everyone who doesn’t manage to come by in person: The online shop is there for you 24 hours a day.

So, by and large, the teams already appear to be taking their seats for the onward flight through the next few months. In our Opel Post betting game, on the other hand, it is not surprising that nothing can be predicted in the battle for the best places. The daily winners of this round are completely different than at the premiere. This time a trio crossed the finish line with 23 points. And all three failed completely in only one of the nine games: They had expected Dortmund to win the Ruhr derby in Bochum, but the Black and Yellows only managed a 1-1 draw.
Two of the top tippers are also tied in the overall standings with 37 points, so unfortunately the lot has to decide who wins the day. And that’s when we pulled “MrNicemountain” out of the drum. Sorry, “EverythingSuper” – sometimes not everything is great after all.

Third on matchday, first in August
As third on the day’s podium, although tied on points, “Svenno” is allowed to climb. And yet he is the only one of the three who can take something with him after this matchday. Because he now leads the overall standings with 42 points, and since there were only two matchdays in August, he is thus crowned the first monthly winner of the season. As a prize, he receives a “GSe” shirt with a key fob.
And who gets the stylish Opel vacuum bottle and the soccer ball in the Astra rim design? We have to draw lots again – and we really don’t like doing it – because six players have 40 points after two rounds. First we pulled “Tom108Furt”, second “Jaggabites”. Again, a big apology to everyone else. But the season is known to be long, so there are still more than enough opportunities to scoop up winnings.
