Bayern and Bayer split peacefully 2-2 in the first real top duel of this Bundesliga season, but played an absolutely great game. Leipzig stays on the heels of the two with a safe 3-0 over Augsburg, promoted team Heidenheim lands its first win with a 4:2 over Bremen, promoted team Darmstadt gets its first point with a 3-3 against Gladbach, but falls victim to a very high one dubious decision by the video referee, after which he only had to play with ten men for almost half. Mainz and Cologne, on the other hand, are still not getting out of the quark.

So things are still going strong in the Bundesliga, which doesn’t make typing any easier for our community. At least our best of the day scored a little better on this 4th match day than on the previous one. With 22 points each, “Littys-Adler” and “Mausi” crossed the finish line head-to-head, and since “Mausi” is one point better in the overall ranking, he can be first on the podium. However, their results were quite different. “Littys-Adler” was completely wrong in three out of nine games, but landed exactly on point five times, which gave him 20 points alone. “Mausi” guessed more consistently and was only completely wrong once – he had given Mainz a point against Stuttgart. Third in the league is “gathrost”, who scored 19 points.

Interesting: The entire top of our matchday table predicted the 2:2 result in the top game, as did the less spectacular 1:1 between Bochum and Frankfurt. Their daily results also catapulted the two top tipsters far ahead in the overall standings. “Mausi” has jumped over 73 places to reach first place, “Littys-Adler” is now in third place after a set over 99 places. Mainz and Cologne can only dream of such jumps on just one match day.
