BrightDrop Delivers Zevo 600s to Ryder Facilities Across the U.S.

BrightDrop is continuing to deliver its Zevo 600 electric van (EV) with the latest batch going to four Ryder facilities in California, Texas and New York. Earlier this year, Ryder announced plans to introduce 4,000 BrightDrop EVs to its fleet through 2025, with the first 200 ordered this year. Today’s milestone is a major development in reaching that goal, and an important step in Ryder’s ongoing efforts to meet the rising demand and adoption of commercial electric vehicles in the United States.
“Electrifying commercial fleets can reduce operating emissions without sacrificing range, safety or performance. By adding BrightDrop EVs to its fleet offerings, Ryder is helping make electrification possible for companies big and small,” said Steve Hornyak, chief commercial officer, BrightDrop.
