Bavaria, Leverkusen and Leipzig march happily on. Mainz and Cologne are still treading water. The brave newcomers from Heidenheim and Darmstadt cannot add any more points to their points from last weekend. Basically, not much surprising happened on this 5th Bundesliga matchday. Except perhaps that after a strenuous “English week” with a Champions League guest appearance at Real Madrid against Hoffenheim, the “Irons” from Berlin did not achieve their usual number of hits – and had to admit defeat 0-2 at home.
Not even the 7-0 came as a surprise
That was the only game that our betting community was unfamiliar with. In all other games, big points were scored. When Bayern beat Bochum 7-0, not even the magnitude of the result was shocking: “blauergoofy” had that exactly on the list. Despite having an impressive total of 23 daily points, that wasn’t enough for him to get a place on the winner’s podium. Instead it says “ElBarto1899”, “Götze” and “HilliBilli”. All three scored 25 points and predicted most of the results in absolute unison. But since “Götze” has the best position in the overall ranking, he can be at the top in the middle. “ElBarto1899” is officially named the second winner and “HilliBilli” the third winner.

Meanwhile, not much has shifted in the overall standings. Our top tipsters all made good, but not outstanding, predictions for the nine games on this fifth matchday. “Vara133” has jumped three places up to number 1 with 20 daily points, but “Yeboah” and “Littys-Adler”, who secured 18 points, remain within striking distance, so the next change in leadership is only a matter of time.
