About JLR’s Schools Partnership Programme:
In collaboration with The Careers & Enterprise Company, JLR took a data-led approach to identify 40 schools in communities local to JLR’s UK footprint where there is a higher proportion of female learners, a higher percentage of free school meals claimed and parents who have not attended university. These criteria provided JLR with the insights necessary to identify those who need opportunities the most.
JLR’s newest Schools Partnership Programme aims to deepen and strengthen the ties it has with secondary schools where JLR operates, offering sustained and regular support for young people from diverse backgrounds to help them realise their potential and obtain the jobs of the future.
