Fine Art America (offering the works of Andy Warhol and Norman Rockwell among others) created the new Gary Bernstein Gallery Collection website allowing the public to purchase affordable digitally signed Limited Editions of Bernstein’s photography and never-before-seen Derivatives of the works (Derivatives are unique designer editions for home and office in which Bernstein transforms his original photography with paints and special effects to create a new artistic genre transcending photography).
In a 50-year career, Gary has photographed more than 200 celebrities—from Jay Leno and Farrah Fawcett to Bruce Jenner. Known for his evocative photography of the legendary beauties including Joan Collins and Sophia Loren, the UK magazine, Woman’s Own, labeled Bernstein “the most sought-after celebrity photographer in the world.”
Magazines like People,Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar and Architectural Digest—including hundreds of corporations from American Express, Revlon and Cartier to the major networks—have hired Bernstein to create images for editorial, advertising, TV, and movie campaigns. Some of Bernstein’s classic advertisements will soon be added to the collection.
Bernstein adds to the collection regularly, taking the viewer into a rare glimpse of the life and character of the world’s most lauded people (with many images – when clicked – offering a personal Bernstein anecdote about the photography session and the celebrity). A new book from Bernstein is forthcoming.
Additionally, the website allows the viewer to place selected photographs on “virtual walls,” pick framing and other perks as a preview prior to purchase.
The appeal of Gary Bernstein’s images is best reflected in the words of Alan Nierob—the Global CEO of Entertainment for Rogers and Cowan/PMK—who has worked with Gary Bernstein since the 70’s who wrote “There’s a good reason why Bernstein shoots the biggest stars in the world. Just look at his work.”
