In the Bundesliga, the big decisions have almost been decided. After their 2-0 win in Cologne, Leverkusen is now ten points ahead of Bayern at the top of the table, as Munich only managed a 2-2 draw in Freiburg. And at the bottom of the table it’s probably just a matter of whether Mainz or Cologne can use the last chance of the relegation game. The battles for the qualification positions for the international competitions are now in full swing. Stuttgart, Dortmund, Leipzig and Frankfurt all picked up away wins – emphasizing that they absolutely want to be there when they face competition from England, France, Spain and Italy next season.
And our tipping community? She’s coping well with the situation. Over 20 tipsters reached the 20 point mark on this 24th matchday. The winner of the day is “doctorniki” with 26 points. He only gave Bayern too much credit in Freiburg, in the other eight games he at least tended to be right and four times even got the result exactly. He is followed by “Dina” with 24 points. Three tipsters have secured 22 points, and of them “Humpback Whale” is the best in the overall ranking, which makes him number three according to our regulations. This time, however, the decision is extremely close: “Pinball” only has two points less on its account.
“frauholle04” wins in February
It is actually becoming increasingly scarce. Now it even takes a play-off to determine the monthly winner. Game days 20 to 23 were to be evaluated in February. And on those days, “frauholle04” and “NuertingerBub” each scored 60 points, which corresponds to a smooth average of 15 points per round. In the overall ranking, “frauholle04” has 278 points, the “NuertingerBub” only 262, so the decision is in favor of the fairytale character. “Floridalady” secured third place. We actually had more faith in her after she scored a whopping 26 points on matchday 21. In the tricky 23rd lap, however, she only picked up four tired points, which severely ruined a better overall result.
In the overall ranking, however, things were turbulent this weekend: with 16 daily points, “Ditzinger” dethroned table leader “Littys-Adler”, and in the chasing field, some who had previously been lurking at the back of the top ten jumped forward. So there’s still a lot of tension there.
