What else can be capitalized on? For our tipsters, the Bundesliga has become a self-service shop when it comes to points. After “Flohster” brought home a whopping 27 points on the last matchday, “FC-Rene” crossed the finish line this matchday with a whopping 26 points. He was at least generally correct in all nine games, four times he guessed the exact result, which already secured him 16 points. His predictions apparently didn’t cause him much headache.
In the fight for fourth place, which qualifies for the Champions League, Leipzig and Dortmund scored in unison, in the long-distance duel for relegation place 16, Mainz won against Bochum, Cologne lost against Leipzig, so that the zero fives are now back in the lead. But that didn’t really surprise anyone. The only problem that caused problems was Wolfsburg’s 3-1 home defeat against Augsburg, which promptly cost their coach Niko Kovac his job. But let’s be honest: That wasn’t really shocking either. Things haven’t been going well for VW-Städter for weeks; most recently they went eleven games without a win.
“frauholle04” wins in February
It is actually becoming increasingly scarce. Now it even takes a play-off to determine the monthly winner. Game days 20 to 23 were to be evaluated in February. And in these, “frauholle04” and “NuertingerBub” each scored 60 points, which corresponds to a smooth average of 15 points per round. In the overall ranking, “frauholle04” has 278 points, the “NuertingerBub” only 262, so the decision is in favor of the fairytale character. “Floridalady” secured third place. We actually had more faith in them after they scored a whopping 26 points on matchday 21. In the tricky 23rd lap, however, she only picked up four tired points, which severely ruined a better overall result.
Our day’s winner’s pursuers also scored points in all nine games, although once with less accuracy. That’s why “HanG7” and “MeJo” go into the play-off with 25 points. “HanG7” can be on the podium in second place, because you can’t be better than him in the overall ranking: he is the new table leader.
The previous leader, “Littys-Adler”, only scored eleven points. The receipt: six teammates passed him. The indestructible “Yeboah” and “Ditzinger” are now breathing down “Hang7’s” neck.
