@Groupe PSA: OP Nine manage all Neune000640

So now we know for sure: Bayer Leverkusen are German champions. Needless to say, no one in our betting community any longer doubted that Xabi Alonso’s team would secure the title “mathematically” against Bremen on the 29th matchday – although no one had a 5-0 on their cards. Everything else went according to plan this round. And so much so that the top ten of this match day is more curious than ever. Four tipsters alone finish with the top result of 25 points, and six other players follow with 24 points. And a total of nine participants guessed all nine games of this matchday at least somewhat correctly – crazy!

“Melon” wins in March

There were also unusual results in determining the monthly winner for March. None of the top ten have been daily winners in the last four weeks, but everyone has consistently guessed at a decent level. And two at the top finish with 68 points, so the overall ranking must also be used for this decision. And “melon” is six points ahead of “4eskimo”. Hats off! “Dreisber” and “HanG7” are competing for third place. “Dreisber” has extremely bad cards in the play-off: “HanG7” is known to be the current table leader. This time a daily average of 17 points was enough to win the month. This is all the more astonishing given that the results on the tricky 27th matchday were consistently extremely poor.

The play-off to see who gets to be on top of the podium is correspondingly tough. The lucky guy is called “Mante” because he is in the best position in the overall ranking with 373 points. He is followed by “Outsider” with 353 points in the overall ranking, which makes him runner-up. In other words, the position in which the new German football champion has missed the mark far too often. Therefore, an “outsider” as the winner on the day on which the Bayer team clinched their first championship title would have been a good fit. But it wasn’t meant to be. “Hoern” crossed the finish line with 334 points in the overall ranking, “bonnie” had to fail despite having 25 daily points. It’s tough, but those are our rules.
“HanG7” continues to stay at the top of the overall rankings. 18 daily points is usually a decent result, but in this round there could have been a few more. In any case, the pursuer “greatel” has scored 22 points and has now moved within one point of the table leader. We note: The title race may be over in the Bundesliga, but it is far from being decided in our betting game.
