The President Angelo Sticchi Damiani and the entire ACI Federation mourn the passing of Ottavio Busardó, Director of the Automobile Club Rieti since 2020 after having held important positions for many years in the body for the development of a culture of responsible mobility and for the promotion of the values of motor sport.
59 years old, Roman but Rieti by adoption; graduated in law and long employed in the Central Directorate for Motor Sport, Ottavio Busardó has always worked alongside motorists with great professionalism and immense passion, contributing to the organization and success of many institutional events of the Automobile Club Italia, many of such as the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix and the Rally Italia Sardegna of global importance.
The leaders and structures of the ACI Federation embrace his wife Antonella and his family, humanly and professionally supporting the President of the Automobile Club Rieti, Alessandro De Sanctis, to guarantee full continuity of the initiatives and projects followed in the area by Busardó , starting with the Rieti Terminillo, a historic uphill race which has reached its 59th edition this year and is the flagship of the Italian Mountain Speed Championship.
