Back in May 2023, during the 68th Annual Meeting of Shareholders, big kahuna Jim Farley made it clear that quality is job number one at Ford Motor Company. To this effect, Dearborn’s favorite son implemented a build-and-hold campaign for the 2024 Ford F-150, namely extra quality checks that delayed shipments to dealers nationwide by weeks.
