Toyota City, Japan―July 31, 2024―Toyota Kaikan Museum, a mainstay exhibition hall for tourists and automotive enthusiasts alike, will open a newly renovated section featuring Toyota’s vision of a future mobility society beginning August 1, 2024.
Upon entering, an immersive video greets visitors to introduce Toyota’s vision of mobility for all. Guests can then learn about a host of mobility products, the Arene software platform, battery technology, hydrogen society and more, in the new area.
New Exhibits Include:
Future Theater “Producing Happiness for All”
- Experience an immersive video education on Toyota’s vision of a mobility society.
Electrification
- Explore various exhibits and cutaway models to educate about Toyota’s multi-pathway approach to achieve carbon neutrality, including battery technology and hydrogen technology development.
Intelligence
- Learn about Toyota’s self-driving technology and the Arene operating system software platform under development.
Diversification
- Observe new mobility solutions ranging from e-Palette to “KAYOIBAKO” demonstrating how Toyota is addressing diverse social issues and individual needs.

Toyota Kaikan Museum will continue renovation on additional areas of the exhibition hall over the coming years. The showroom which features the newest vehicles remains open, as well as the gift shop.
