Six cars tested in the third test in 2024: Audi Q6 e-tron, Ford Explorer, Jeep Avenger, Renault Symbioz, Subaru Crosstrek and XPENG G6.
Maximum score, five stars, for Audi Q6 e-tron, Ford Explorer, XPENG G6, Subaru Crosstrek and the partner model Impreza.
Truly excellent results, but the Q6 e-tron, in particular, demonstrated excellent performance in protecting adult and child occupants.
The new Renault Symbioz achieved four stars, a result it shares with its partner model Captur.
The Jeep Avenger achieved three stars for suboptimal chest protection of the 10-year-old in the side-impact crash test and for its results in crash prevention tests with pedestrians, motorcyclists and cyclists.
Euro NCAP finally awarded the result of five stars to BYD’s SEAL-U PHEV variant of the SEAL-U 2023.
“Audi, Ford, Subaru and XPENG maintain their high safety ambitions – said Michiel van Ratingen, Euro NCAP General Secretary – we congratulate them on their five-star ratings and for continuing to set a standard for others to follow ”.
