The model that we associate with Volkswagen Group-era Bentley has entered its fourth generation. Production has just started in Crewe on the day Walter Owen Bentley was born a whopping 136 years ago.
Hailing from Hampstead, the British engineer established Bentley in 1919. The company would be sold to Rolls-Royce in 1931. From 1924 through 1931, cars produced by the British automaker won the 24 Hours of Le Mans no fewer than five times. B… (continue reading…)
