The Automobile Club of Italy is pleased to announce the participation of ACI Storico in “Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2024” – Bologna Fair, 24-27 October, Pavilion 22 – an important opportunity to promote the culture and history of automobile, through a rich calendar of events that will involve national and international experts, enthusiasts and collectors.
“The participation of the Automobile Club of Italy in an event of such importance – declared Angelo Sticchi Damiani, President of the ACI and ACI Storico – is a source of particular pride for us. Being present here in Bologna, in a context that celebrates the beauty and evolution of the automobile, represents an extraordinary opportunity to reiterate the importance of preserving, protecting and enhancing our motoring history. The growing public interest in historic motoring demonstrates how car culture is an important part of our collective heritage, and how essential it is to continue to talk about it, as a symbol of style, elegance, design, engineering and technological research and innovation, and of course passion.”
“The participation of ACI Storico in Auto e Moto d’Epoca, with a program so rich in culture and sporting history – underlined Vincenzo Leanza, General Secretary of ACI and Director of ACI Storico – reflects the organisation’s commitment to represent an institutional point of reference in the world of historic Italian motoring. In fact, we believe that the care and conservation of historic cars, true works of art on wheels, is not only an act of passion, but also a moral duty, as a safeguard of our cultural heritage. The cars that will be displayed in the ACI Storico stand are authentic symbols of eras, societies, cultures and fashions of the past that we have inherited, and we have the responsibility to pass on to future generations, preserving their beauty, originality, value and meaning”.
