YOKOHAMA, Japan (April 26, 2018) – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for March 2018 and for the 12 months ended March 31.
“The April 2017–March 2018 period set global production and sales records yet again,” said Executive Vice President Daniele Schillaci, global head of marketing and sales. “The strong production and sales momentum in China and the popularity of SUVs including the Rogue series, the Qashqai and the Kicks drove the growth. Since its rollout in Japan in the second half of FY17, the new Nissan LEAF has gone on sale in the U.S. and Europe, attracting many customers around the world with its Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies. We’ll seek further growth in the future under the Nissan M.O.V.E. to 2022 midterm plan.”
