January 02, 2025 – Honda will showcase its full automobile line-up at the 101st Brussels Motor Show from 10-19 January, alongside a first public appearance for the ‘Silver Civic’, created last year to celebrate 25 years since the brand launched Europe’s first ever hybrid model.

This will mark Honda’s first time exhibiting at the show since 2022, where it will exhibit its fully electrified mainstream model range, including the all-electric e:Ny1, alongside the hybrid Jazz e:HEV, Civic e:HEV, and ZR-V e:HEV, plus both the CR-V e:HEV and CR-V e:PHEV. Attendees will also be able to see the new 2025 HR-V e:HEV alongside the Civic Type R, which has captivated drivers for six generations with its perfect blend of exceptional handling, precision engineering, and cutting-edge technology.

With the full hybrid range in attendance, Brussels Motor Show is a great opportunity to celebrate Honda’s hybrid silver jubilee with the one-of-a-kind Civic e:HEV sprayed in the world’s most silver paint. Coated in a specially made batch of unique silver paint created by renowned artist and colour champion, Stuart Semple, it was created using 64% real silver flakes and pigments blended in an acrylic suspension.

Honda is now in its fourth decade of producing hybrid vehicles, having introduced the first petrol-electric hybrid car to Europe with its revolutionary Insight in 1999. Driven by a sense of responsibility to advance vehicle efficiency for societal benefit and for technical innovation, whilst also continuing to deliver the “joy of driving” to its customers, Honda has always been at the forefront of hybrid technology.

Hans De Jaeger, Senior Vice President, Honda Motor Europe said “Honda’s engineers have spent the last 25 years perfecting the hybrid powertrain and our current model offering demonstrates our leadership in this area. And we are not stopping there, as we continue to build on our heritage with the iconic hybrid Prelude e:HEV nameplate, which will return to Europe in early 2026 following a positive response across Europe. Not only is Brussels Motor Show a chance for us to celebrate our fully electrified mainstream automobile range, it will also come hot on the heels of the latest news regarding the Honda 0 Series at CES 2025, where we plan to further showcase that Honda’s switch to an all-electric future is advancing.”

Kathryn Jaworski, Head of Automobiles, Honda Benelux said “We are thrilled to present our lineup at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show. This event is not only a chance to showcase our range of cars, including the latest HR-V e:HEV, but also to celebrate our rich history in hybrid technology with the silver anniversary Civic e:HEV. We are excited to welcome visitors to our stand throughout the show.”

Hans de Jaeger, Senior Vice President at Honda Motor Europe will be at the booth from 13:00 to 16:00 on Friday 10 January 2025 to meet with media. Attendees can drop by or register their interest with amy.lay@honda-eu.com.
