Statements

Félix García, director of communication and marketing at ANFAC, explained that “the market has started with a good figure in January and with a remarkable growth thanks, in part, to the push of the purchases of families and companies. Rental companies fall in January since in December they doubled their sales and have time to provision new vehicles being Holy Week in April. We have closed January with two disparate news, a good one that is the decrease of types by the ECB, which lowers the financing of the new vehicles and another not good such as the repeal of the extension of the MOVES III Plan when the Royal Decree is repealed that the Royal Decree that He included it in the Congress of Deputies. From ANFAC, we work with the government to try to once again have aid as soon as possible to avoid a situation that generates uncertainty in the buyer. ”

Raúl Morales, Faconauto Communication Director, indicated that «the automotive market has started this year with growth, something that was predictable, since many enrollments that should have occurred in December have occurred in January. Part of these enrollments have been electric vehicles, which grow greatly, also due to the fact that the sector is pushing the registration of these vehicles because it has to meet the emission objectives that the European Union is imposing us in the face of this Year, and that happens by enrolling many electric. The decay of the Moves III has not yet been noticed, which, as we know, is no longer operational. What is being noticed is a brake in the orders of electric vehicles that will have their reflection in statistics in the next few days and, of course, that statistic will be very negative. What this situation is producing is uncertainty in the sector and the buyer, so it is necessary that the future of these aids be clarified as soon as possible. ”

“You have to refer to how the market is behaving in the Valencian Community that grows strongly because the Valencians are recovering their mobility by acquiring vehicles and thanks to a large extent to the shock plans established by the Government Central and the Generalitat Valenciana, and that are being able to respond to the needs that the Valencians are having after the Dana ».

Tania Puche, Director of Communication at Ganvam stressed that “enrollments start the year in positive, especially for the good behavior of private purchases. Judging by how the market reduces its growth rate in the approximately eight days of the month, the figures would have been superior if the extension of the Moves III Plan would not have been canceled on January 22. Hence the importance that, at a time when the market begins to recover the tone, the administration acts urgently and reactivates an effective plan to impulse demand. We are aware of government sensitivity with the sector, but materializing measures in a timely manner is important for them to meet their mission, especially with dictation objectives as ambitious as those that we have taxes for this 2025. ”
