FREDERICK, Md., March 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Three independent schools in Frederick, MD, have come together to form the Frederick Independent School Alliance (FISA). The newly formed group aims to foster collaboration, share resources, and promote the greater good of the independent school network in the region.
The alliance includes The Banner School, Friends Meeting School, and Lucy School, who have united with a shared vision to support each other’s educational initiatives, coordinate events, and create a unified voice within the local community.
In its inaugural event, FISA will host the Frederick Independent Schools Admissions Fair on April 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. Burr Artz Library in Frederick. The fair will provide prospective students and their families an opportunity to learn about the unique offerings of each participating school, including curriculum details, extracurricular opportunities, and the school cultures that make each institution distinctive.
