Praga has enjoyed a record-breaking week in the UK, visiting Dunsfold, Goodwood and London – on one set of road tyres: the Bohema’s first year of production is set to be one to remember.
Praga has launched its UK Summer celebrations with a lap of 1’09”.8…the fastest time for a pure petrol road car around the famous Dunsfold test track. The former home of Top Gear TV and now venue for the Top Gear Stig Laps, hosted Ben Collins, a tyre warmer, an official with a VBox and a small Praga crew of mechanics and engineers in an attempt to take on the world’s best petrol supercars round the tight and short circuit. Watch Ben drive to the track then set it alight in the same car on its road rubber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCRoQ93JdCA&t=21s.
Collins said: “We had a great day! Dunsfold isn’t the ideal circuit for an aero car that loves long, fast corners and long tracks like Spa and The Nurburgring, but we gave it our best shot and you can see in the film how excited I was with our times. What was most impressive in beating cars with four-wheel drive, four-figure horsepowers and hybrid powertrains, was how we did it with a small crew, Launch Control off, and one set of tyres. I love the Bohema and it delivered for me.”
Praga has confirmed its attendance at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed and plans to make a big impression in the Supercar Paddock. As well as piloting the Bohema supercar up the Goodwood Hill, Praga test driver and ambassador, Ben Collins, will also be part of the team that hands over three new customer cars during the weekend July 10th–13th.
Mark Harrison, Praga Cars Sales & Marketing Director, said: “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the world’s best long weekend for car enthusiasts, collectors, brands and fans. Praga has had successful visits in the past with the R1 race car when we came 6th in the 2021 hillclimb shoot-out, but 2025 will be big: it’s Praga’s first year of Bohema deliveries and where better to present clients with their cars – I just hope Ben looks after them!”
Two days after visiting Dunsfold, Praga took the Bohema to town – on the same set of tyres Ben Collins recorded his record-breaking lap!
With the first UK Bohema owner due to take delivery this summer, Praga and car photographer GF Williams, spent an afternoon and evening taking in the Capital’s sights – and testing out speed bumps and narrow City streets. The supercar passed its London test, turned heads and headed off to European cities (Munich, Luxembourg, Geneva and Prague) through June before its planned return to Goodwood.
GF said: “I can’t work out if that was fun or frightening for me. But the Bohema performed brilliantly and I really tested Tomas the test driver especially around The City. Running along Westminster Bridge as the Bohema appeared in front of The Houses of Parliament was a real highlight. For me and all the pedestrians, cyclists and drivers on the bridge.”
