Sarah Cabrera Joins Award-Winning Animated Series ‘The High Meows’ as Lola

Accomplished Actress Lends Her Voice to a Worldly Canine Character in the Hit Animated Series

LOS ANGELES, June 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Actress Sarah Cabrera (The Last Heist, Outlanders) has joined the cast of the award-winning animated series The High Meows in the leading role of Lola, a sophisticated British dog who becomes the newest member of the show’s multicultural animal family. Lola is a well-travelled and endlessly enthusiastic dog who often regales her friends with tales from around the world. The six-time Telly Award-winning series follows Tiger, an American kitten who moves to the south of France and has to navigate the challenges of a new culture and language. Along the way, he meets animals cx from across Europe and explores themes of friendship, diversity, and discovery through engaging stories and songs. Claire Dodin is the showrunner for The High Meows, which is produced by the Los Angeles-based production company, Voffla.

Cabrera is a seasoned performer with credits across film, television, and theater. She is best known for her roles in The Last Heist, Outlanders (Prime Video), Big Age (Channel 4), and Count Abdula (ITVX).

In the upcoming season of The High Meows, Tiger, Minette, and their curious gang of adventurous kittens encounter a group of dogs for the first time. As both sides learn to overcome their initial curiosity and hesitation, they discover that making new friends can lead to incredible adventures and that stepping outside their comfort zone may not be as scary as it seems.
