The film features rare archival footage and personal insights from Larry Berra, Yogi’s eldest son, and Father Gabriel Costa, a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark. Costa is a mathematics professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the creator of the first college-level Sabermetrics course.
The documentary was filmed on location at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Yogi Berra’s final resting place, and offers a touching exploration of #8’s journey both on and off the field.
Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a live Q&A panel featuring Larry Berra and Father Costa, moderated by the film’s director and co-producer, Max Martinez-Almenas (Catholic Cemeteries). Co-producer and editor Enrico Bolognino (EB Media) will also be present.
