In the electric vehicle sector, XPeng Inc. reported a substantial increase in its vehicle deliveries for June and the first half of 2025. The company delivered 34,611 smart electric vehicles in June, marking a 224% year-over-year growth and achieving over 30,000 units monthly for eight consecutive months. Additionally, XPeng set a new quarterly delivery record with 103,181 units in Q2 2025 and surpassed its total 2024 sales within the first half of this year with 197,189 units delivered. Moreover, XPeng has expanded globally with new initiatives, including launching its flagship model, XPENG X9, in Indonesia and presenting advancements in autonomous driving at a major industry conference.
In other trading, Lear was trading firmly up 6% and finishing the session at $100.65. Meanwhile, Tesla lagged, down 5.3% to close at $300.71.
