Mr. Omiros holds a BS degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Science program in Non-Profit Management from Central Michigan University. He has devoted his career to advancing community-focused initiatives with integrity and vision. As a top leader at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, he was instrumental in raising $350 million annually, an achievement that exemplifies his deep understanding of fundraising strategy and donor stewardship.

He is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the American Society of Association Executives, Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council, and numerous Masonic and Rotary organizations, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement and collaborative philanthropy. His outstanding contributions to the field have earned him recognition as Outstanding Fundraising Executive in 1990, and induction as a Member of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle in 2001 as the highest layman’s recognition by the Greek Orthodox Church worldwide.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Omiros treasures time with his spouse, and  two children, and enjoys playing with his seven-year-old granddaughter.
