This expansion in leadership follows the firm’s strengthened focus on supporting the credit union movement, which has already resulted in a growing number of strategic partnerships established between Black Dragon Capital℠ and various credit unions and CUSOs.

Black Dragon Capital℠ principals have been part of the credit union and community banking industry for decades. Charles Potts

Charles E. Potts is executive vice president and chief innovation officer for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). In this role Potts drives ICBA’s innovation initiatives, and financial technology strategies, working with ICBA leadership to develop impactful, value-added solutions that help community banks to capitalize on new market opportunities to meet customers’ evolving financial services’ needs. Potts’ extensive experience in banking and financial service firms provided the background Potts needed to start, co-found or lead various fintech start-ups including digital banking, mobile engagement, financial management and payments providers. Many had successful exits via IPO’s or acquisition via strategic acquirers.

Harry Gunsallus

Harry Gunsallus serves as the President & ISO of DLP Bank. He is a leader in financial and information technology innovation, with over 30 years’ experience in banking, credit unions, and fintech partnerships. He has won numerous awards for innovation and creativity, including industry trade recognition as a CEO of the year as well as Chief Information Officer of the year. Mr. Gunsallus is a thought leader in the digital banking space and an expert in the deployment of lending / process automation, both at the banking level and within operational and mortgage areas.

Rumi Contractor

Rumi Contractor is the Advisor, Mentor, and Board Member at RPC Business Advisors and former Global Service Delivery & CEO at HSBC Global Resourcing, bringing a distinctive leadership background and style to this role. Throughout his 35-year career, Rumi has had the good fortune of combining his global executive experience in technology with business operations within the Financial Services industry. He has used his colorful and vast experience to provide technology-based services to clients across multiple sectors, markets, and geographies, enabling them to execute and deliver on their business strategies.   

Martin Geitz

Since 2022, Martin J. Geitz, following a forty-year career in banking, has served as the American Savings Foundation Endowed Chair for Banking and Finance at Central Connecticut State University.  In this role, Geitz brings a practitioner’s perspective to students through the banking courses he teaches and events he arranges. From 2004 to 2019, Geitz served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SBT Bancorp (SBTB–OTC). Its principal subsidiary, Simsbury Bank & Trust Company, Inc., He was also a member of the corporation’s and the bank’s board of directors.  In late 2019, Liberty Bank acquired SBT, and Geitz retired from Liberty at the end of 2021.

Paul Schaus

Paul Schaus is the Managing Partner and Founder of CCG Catalyst. He has extensive experience in the banking industry, where he has worked as a banker, management consultant, and strategist for over 30 years. Under his leadership, CCG Catalyst has advised hundreds of clients on major global engagements, including strategy and business planning, de novo banking, mergers and acquisitions, product and service development, market analysis, board and management development, tactical performance improvement, profitability enhancement, and technology utilization. 

Bob Woods

Bob Woods is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry and is currently a Partner with CCG Catalyst, a leading bank advisory, consulting, and research firm. He has held significant roles at companies like Fiserv, where he most recently led strategic initiatives, and Unisys, where he managed various financial industry initiatives. His expertise includes driving revenue growth, organizational alignment, and corporate-wide initiatives within the financial services industry.
