LJBLegal Partners with St. Charles Parish Library to Serve Residents Lacking Notary Access
ST. CHARLES PARISH, La., Aug. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Loyd J. Bourgeois Injury & Accident Lawyer is proud to announce a new partnership with the St. Charles Parish Library to offer free notary public services to adults in the community. Bourgeois or another attorney from his firm will visit a different library branch on the third Thursday of each month, starting with the West Regional Library in Luling on Thursday, August 21 from 1-3 pm. (Times may vary each month.)
Dates for the remainder of the year are:
August 21 – West Regional Library in Luling
September 18 – East Regional Library in Destrehan
October 16 – Paradis Branch
November 20 – St. Rose Branch
December 18 – Norco Branch
This walk-in program is designed to support residents who may not have easy access to a notary, especially those who need assistance with personal documents, affidavits, or school-related forms. Services are available to the public at no cost, and no appointment is required.
“This partnership is about removing barriers,” said Loyd Bourgeois. “We live and work in this parish, and we understand that sometimes even a simple notarization can be difficult to access. We’re honored to work with the library to provide this small but important service to our neighbors.”

- This is a notarization-only service. No legal advice will be given, and documents will not be drafted or prepared.
- If your document requires witnesses, you must bring them with you.
- All signers must bring valid photo ID to verify their identity.
