MIAMI, Aug. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc. has been nationally recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), as one of the top-performing health centers in the country for 2025. The health center has earned multiple Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) badges for its outstanding clinical quality performance and commitment to advancing community health.
Among the most prestigious honors, Care Resource received National Quality Leader (NQL) badges in the following categories:
- Behavioral Health
- Heart Health
- Diabetes Health
These NQL badges place Care Resource among the top tier of health centers nationwide that meet or exceed national benchmarks in critical areas of care, including depression screening, cardiovascular disease prevention, and diabetes management.
Additionally, Care Resource retained its Gold Health Center Quality Leader (HCQL) badge, signifying its placement in the top 10% of all health centers for overall clinical quality performance.
The health center also earned recognition in the following CHQR categories:
- Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality – for its use of telehealth, patient engagement tools, and data-driven care coordination.
- Preventive Health – for exceeding benchmarks in areas such as depression screening, tobacco cessation, and BMI screening.

In the past year, Care Resource provided over 130,000 service visits and served over 26,000 unduplicated clients, with 53% of patients uninsured. The health center dispensed more than 30,000 prescriptions, delivered over 529,000 meals through its Food for Life Network food pantry, and maintained a 97% linkage to HIV care within 30 days of diagnosis—well above national averages.
Care Resource’s innovative programs, such as its Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) initiative, have expanded access to care for patients managing chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. The health center also distributed nearly 10,000 doses of Narcan through its mobile outreach team, The SPOT, and supported over 1,400 individuals and families with housing assistance through HOPWA and other housing programs.
