What happened?
On or about May 30, 2025, Farmers was alerted by a third-party vendor to suspicious activity involving potential unauthorized access to a customer database. An investigation confirmed that on May 29, 2025, an unauthorized actor gained entry to the vendor’s system and obtained certain information. The compromised data may have included names, addresses, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, and/or the last four digits of Social Security numbers. The incident is estimated to have impacted more than 1 million individuals.
