LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Poynter Law Group announces that Citizens of Oklahoma that owned real estate property in the state of Oklahoma and which property or properties suffered earthquake damages arising from the 5.1m earthquake near Prague, Oklahoma on February 2, 2024, and all other earthquakes within Oklahoma from January 19, 2019 through the Effective Date (the “Settlement Class Period”), may qualify for a payment from class action settlements.
A total of $555,000.00 in class settlements have been reached in a class action lawsuit about whether certain Defendants operated wastewater disposal wells that allegedly contributed to causing the 5.1m earthquake near Prague, Oklahoma on February 2, 2024, and also in other areas in Oklahoma occurring within the Settlement Class Period. The Settlements resolve any and all claims against Spess Oil Company, Circle 9 Resources, and Culbreath Oil & Gas Co., Inc. (the “Settling Defendants”) alleged to arise from earthquakes that occurred between January 19, 2019, and the Effective Date with epicenters within the State of Oklahoma, including but not limited to the 5.1m earthquake near Prague, Oklahoma, on February 2, 2024. You may be eligible to participate in the proposed Settlements, if they are finally approved, if you owned or have had an interest in residential or commercial real estate properties within the borders of Oklahoma between January 19, 2019, through the Effective Date and suffered earthquake damages from earthquakes near Prague, Oklahoma, or other seismicity in other areas of Oklahoma.
