García, currently serving a 16-year sentence in California for prior convictions involving minors, was taken into federal custody in Chino, CA. The indictment details how García and his predecessors manipulated congregants into silence, using threats of spiritual damnation and financial coercion. Several defendants remain at large and are believed to be in Mexico.
