WellNow and EB Medicine Partner to Elevate Clinician Training Nationwide

Industry leaders join forces to set a new standard in urgent care education and clinical confidence

ATLANTA, Sept. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — WellNow Urgent Care, a national leader in urgent care with one of the fastest-growing networks in the United States, has announced a strategic partnership with EB Medicine to deliver a cutting-edge clinical education and training program to its more than 600 clinicians across more than 150 locations. The initiative underscores WellNow’s commitment to clinical excellence, provider support, and consistent, evidence-based care across its expanding network.

All WellNow clinicians will receive full access to EB Medicine’s urgent care–specific, clinical education platform. This includes CME-accredited content, procedure-focused courses, pediatric training modules, and clinical decision support tools. The platform also offers charting guidance, risk management strategies, and mobile access to real-time updates, fitting perfectly into the fast-paced, high-variability urgent care environment.

“At WellNow, we’re focused on delivering exceptional care and building an environment where our clinicians are empowered to succeed,” said Dr. Robert Biernbaum, Chief Medical Officer at WellNow Urgent Care. “This partnership with EB Medicine allows us to reinforce clinical excellence across our clinics, streamline onboarding and upskilling, and empower our teams in delivering consistent, high-quality care.”

The program delivers enterprise-wide access to:

Evidence-Based Urgent Care, a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal offering a deep dive into a single topic per issue
The Urgent Care EKG Course, focused on improving real-world EKG interpretation
The Pediatric Urgent Care Playbook, offering practice-proven guidelines for common complaints in children
Safeguarding Charting, a medical-legal documentation course offering best practices to mitigate risk
Targeted procedural modules covering abscess management, laceration repair and wound care, and orthopedics

As part of the partnership, EB Medicine will also provide WellNow with 160 hands-on suture kits annually, antibiotic and steroid stewardship video modules, a downloadable antibiotic prescribing pocket guide, and skills workshops led by nationally recognized educator Dr. Patrick O’Malley.

“I’ve been with EB Medicine since its founding 25 years ago, and one thing has never changed: evidence-based education drives better patient care, improved clinician retention, and stronger bottom lines for urgent care and emergency medicine groups,” said Stephanie Williford, CEO of EB Medicine. “Our partnership with WellNow delivers that impact at scale across their entire system.”

The new platform is already rolling out across the WellNow system, giving clinicians direct login access, robust onboarding, and ongoing CME opportunities.
