@Groupe PSA: OP two world premieres and a debut000811

Both the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo and the new Opel Mokka GSE celebrated their well -respected world premiere at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. The fair was also a debut for Vanessa Repp, Vice President Future Product – her first big public appearance since she took office almost exactly one year ago.

Debut on a big stage
With attentive looks, she follows the words of her board colleagues at the press conference. Opel CEO Florian Huettl, Marketing Vice President Rebecca Reinermann and design chief Mark Adams rave about the new performances that are far more than spectacular show cars for Opel. For Vanessa Repp, the actual work begins at this moment. Your task: Form series models from visions.

“Our latest groundbreaking concept vehicle from Rüsselsheim is the vision for our GSE label.”
-Opel CEO Florian Huettl-

Still hidden: Opel brought two world premieres to the IAA Mobility in Munich.

Vanessa Repp, Vice President Future Product, made her debut on a big stage.

Marketing director Rebecca Reinermann emphasizes that the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo makes the next GSE chapter tangible-for everyone.

800 PS for everyone! The concept car can soon be driven in the racing simulator “Gran Turismo 7”.

“The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is our vision of the GSE future-and more,” promises design director Mark Adams.

“The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo gives an outlook on the design of future Opel models and at the same time shows our commitment in the small car segment,” she emphasized. The base corresponds to that of a Corsa and yet is new – lower, wider, more powerful. “The Corsa has been the best -selling small car in Germany in the past five years – we want to defend this dominant position in the future.”

What ideas go in series?
The questions of the journalists aim directly at the heart of the matter: Which visions actually find their way into the series? A Corsa GSE? Electrical all-wheel drive in other Opel models? Or the numerous clever aero solutions such as aeroopimmic hood, aero curtains and aero-blade fender expansions?

The musician Will.i.am took the details in Concept Car Platz, Advanced chief designer Florian Theis.

World premiere number 2: The Opel Mokka GSE offers an incomparable “drive” experience on the street-and can now be ordered with 207 kW (281 hp).

The Grandland Electric AWD celebrates the audience premiere in Munich-the brand’s first brand.

Interview with Opel CEO: Florian Huettl is a sought-after conversation partner for the media representatives.

“Further GSE notes will follow shortly. The development of the next generation of Corsa has already started.”
– Vice President Future Product Vanessa Repp –

Repp smiles. “Of course, it is still too early to reveal which elements will be seen on future models.” Then, with a touch of reprint: “As a German brand, we do everything with a purpose.” One thing is clear: the work on the next Corsa is already running. And the GSE story-it just started.

The first phygital concept car of the brand – a hybrid of digital vision and real model – elects the audience. But Repp has long been asked about other topics: all -wheel drive at the Frontera? Progress in battery technology? News about the Astra? Your answers remain diplomatic: “It is still too early at the moment to comment. But stay tuned – we will share all the news as soon as you are available.”

Central to Munich City: Visitors welcomes an impressive 7.5 meter high cube in the yellow “Pixel look”.

With a preliminary version of Gran Turismo 7, visitors experience the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo in the racing simulator.

The Opel Mokka GSE Rally is a fully electric rally vehicle of the next generation – developed for professional “racing”.

OMG! GSE
200 square meters of pure power and emotions-this is shown by the Opel representation in the middle of the Munich City. The stand is an absolute eye-catcher, its design is based on the energetic “OMG!” Campaign. Under the motto race. Drive. Play. Opel on the Odeonsplatz stages the full GSE experience: The rally prototype Mokka GSE Rally stands for “Race”, the new serial mocha GSE for “Drive”. Finally, “Play” embodies the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, which allows the digital with the real world and can be experienced exclusively at the stand in a preliminary version of Gran Turismo 7.

The two Opel stands-both in the summit at the fair and in the open space in downtown Munich-are densely surrounded. Experts, fans and stars – they all want to take a look at the future. Musician Will.i.am, known through hits like I Gotta Feeling with the Black Eyed Peas, enthusiastically climbs into the concept car, listens to the explanations of Advanced chief designer Florian Theis.

Rally champions at the start
The rally pilots Calle Carlberg, freshly baked junior European champion in Corsa Rally4, and Luca Pröglhöf, winner of the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup “Powered by GSE”, cannot miss the opportunity to take a close look at the latest concept car from Rüsselsheim.
