We have achieved our goal as an IG Metall: income, employment and specialists are solidly secured. Collective bargaining can only be a component for a sustainable steel industry.
We made our work in the best possible way. The future of the German steel industry is now in the hands of good corporate tours and strategic politics. We need a rapidly implemented industrial current price, quick-tangible projects from the special investment assets and thirdly a European answer to the customs crisis and cheap steel imports. “
